b. The CIW Makes International News Headlines!

from www.ciw-online.org

UNIVISION.COM, the website of one of the world's most popular Spanish language media networks, is featuring a fabulous in-depth piece on the conditions of slavery and sweatshops in the fields of Florida and the work of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers.

The feature includes sections on the daily lives of workers in Immokalee, slavery in the fields of the United States, the members of the Coalition, and the Taco Bell boycott.

Go to http://www.univision.com to read the entire piece in Spanish. If you don't read Spanish, be sure to check out the "fotos" section for a moving photo essay that shows the brutal reality of farmwork today.
